Biography

Hisashi 2.0 is a portuguese project created in 2012, which began in 2020 resulting from the culmination of years of composition and notes of various ideas and musical styles. Musical references range from J-Rock / Visual Kei (Luna Sea, Kuroyume, the Gazette, Shazna and Zi:Kill) to Alternative Rock (The Smiths, New Order, Type O Negative, Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Stranglers) .

This project started as a band in 2012 as Villder Na'ill with Hisashi on bass and composition from which resulted the first songs such as “Paradox Silence” and “Dream” and these have undergone changes over the years.

The band would break up 2 years later due to musical differences and side projects that ended up leading to a lack of time to continue rehearsals. Villder Na'ill would only release a demo “Trauma” released shortly before the band's disbandment, but would later be used by Colora which was a resultant project of Hisashi in 2016.

Over the next few years Hisashi continued to work on new ideas and new songs, going through several projects in different musical styles from Hard Rock, Funk Jazz and Metal where they would influence the type of music he would compose until the project's release in 2020, although without deviating from the Japanese style that led him to create the project.

In 2018 Hisashi invites Allsin, independent artist with origins in Gothic Rock and Horror Punk, who loved the concept and soon accepted recording what would become the first single titled "Distortion". Allsin gave his voice to the project, which defined the style as a mix of Alternative Rock with the so-called “flavour” of Gothic Rock in the voice, even being compared to Type O Negative due to Allsin's vocal resemblance to Peter Steele.

The recordings began right after Allsin accepted the invitation and also resulted in the first video clip that took from 2018 to 2020 to be completed, also released on February 20th,2020. The single had a lot of adherence and good reviews also playing on some online radios that showed interest.

During 2020 Hisashi 2.0 released some more singles such as “Acid Rain” and “Paradox Silence” among others and another mini EP “Flower in the Desert”.

In 2021 he released a new video clip alluding to the new single “Dream” which resulted from the online cooperation between Hisashi and Sniffi Ghoth, a goth model on Instagram who would later appear in the clip.

A full length album was later announced and released on December 10th named “A.N.D.” or “A New Decade” featuring some new tracks with a more electronic and synthwave and darkwave sound and aesthetic.

In early 2022 a collab cover of “Ichirin no Hana” from the band HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR between Hisashi 2.0 and Yuu Gifun a Japanese internet singer and influencer was released in February with good reviews on Instagram and YouTube.

Some new changes are being worked on and many new songs are on the way with many more videos and some exclusive physical media releases.
